Windows 11
Will musescore run on Windows 11? I'm currently running WIN 10; Microsoft has notified me that Windows 11 will be coming soon and that some applications may not work right on WIN 11.

As far as we now, there is no reason for it to not work.

Can you be more specific about what prevents you? So far we've heard kind of mixed results.

Via your Windows Updates or from MicroSoft.
EDIT: reply no longer makes sense after the post I replied to turned out to be spam and was removed.
Musescore won't even start on my Windows 11 - there is no error message, no Musescore window in which I could see what is happening. Musescore shows up in the Task Manager but that was it - it appears to only partially open and then get stuck. I tried opening a music file directly via right mouse click but that didn't work either.

Kill it in Task manager, try to start it again (via double click on a score for a start)

Hi Jojo,
I killed it in task manager, tried restarting the program numerous times. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no avail. The blue start up screen get stuck on the "Loading scores" step and the program window says (Not Responding) in the upper left hand corner. Running on Windows 11 Home. Any ideas?

Also, when trying to open, I get "The previous session quit unexpectedly. Restore session?" I have tried "Yes" and "No" <-- either answer results in (Not Responding) still.

Have you tried running MuseScore3.exe as administrator, or used the Windows compatibility troubleshooter?

Uninstall/reinstall rarly solves issues with MuseScore, reverting to factory setting much more often so. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/revert-factory-settings#Via_command…
