I use MuseScore to explain music theory to kids. In order to do this, I transcript music and the I take screen recordings of specific fragments to explain them. To capture the interactive video with the computer's internal sound, I use a plugin called "iShowU Audio Capture".

Today I'm trying to make screen recordings and Muse is not sending the sound. I've already made tests with videos and other Softwares and they are sending the internal audio, but that's not the case with Musescore.

Around 2 months ago, I had the same issue, but after 2 days if fixed. I'm not sure if this will be the case again, but is the second time, that's why I consider maybe there's something that can be fixed.

To reproduce the bug:
1. Download iShowU and install it.
2. Open Quick Time to make a screen recording.
3. Go to File / New Screen Recording
3. In the drop menu next to options in the "Microphone" option select "iShowU Audio Capture"
4. Make a screen recording and reproduce anything in Musescore. It won't take audio, whereas in any other software it most likely will.

Go to Edit / Preferences / I/O and see if your screen recorder has set up a special audio device you need to select. I gather Zoom does this, not sure about the programs you mention.

if that doesn't solve it, please ask on the Support forum, where many more people with system administration experience will be able to see your question and offer suggestions. be sure to say what OS you are on - I'm guessing macOS.

FWIW, I use Screencastify, it works fine on Windows and ChromeOS/Linux with no additional plugin required, so that's something else to consider.
