MuseScore crashes when I try to change the instrument ordering from the default in "Orchestral" ordering
The title explains the issue. Whenever I am creating a score (particularly for orchestra), if I place a nonstandard instrument into the mix and try to move it up or down the program decides that it needs to crash. I do not know how to fix this. Please help me.

Perhaps a little more info would help. OS, version of MuseScore, etc.
I can't get this to happen based on your description. Describe the steps you are taking.
I recall a bug in an earlier version producing this result, so if you're not on 3.6.2, be sure to update. if you are, then please attach your score and give precise steps to reproduce the program - e.g., tell us which instrument you are adding, where you are adding it, and which way you are trying to move it.
See #315599: MuseScore 3.6 crashes when rearranging instrument positions and changing Ordering (see description), fixed in 3.6.1. But don't update to that, go directly to 3.6.2 instead...
