Musescore "Pushing" Rhythm

Hi, this piece is supposed to be in 4/4, but in the attached two measures, the downbeat of the second measure actually comes in early, on the upbeat of four. Instead of "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4" it sounds as "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 1 and 2 and 3 and 4". I know that's just MIDI playback but whatever is written in the score is shifting the whole piece when I try and notate the voice line so it no longer fits with the piano. I think it might be those tiny dashes that look like miniature half rests sitting on the top right of each bar. Does anyone know how to fix? Thanks!
