Adding measures
When attempting to 'append measures', instead of this resulting in a number of 'empty' individual measures being added, 'multiple measures' appear, i.e. a measure with a thick black line inserted and a number representing the measure numbers requested above it. I've obviously set an option incorrectly but I'm unable to determine which and am therefore unable to correct the setting. Any assistance with this would be welcomed. Many thanks.

to understand what you were seeing.
Hello gorilla tag, you should check the "Create Multimeasure Rests" option: In MuseScore, go to Edit > Preferences > Score tab. Look for the "Create Multimeasure Rests" option. Ensure that it is unchecked. If it is checked, deselect it and click "OK" to apply the changes
