Glitch upon deleting measures in 3.6.2.

I want to delete some empty measures, but when I go to Tools --> Delete selected range and click on it, the page just glitches and completely evaporate from the screen. When I go to reopen the app there's always reports saying something was "quitted unexpectedly/corrupted."
What is wrong and how can I delete these measures?
