I just open musescore, and the sound doesn't work - more specifically, the sound is all grainy, and about half a second after you hear any kind of sound, (not only on musescore, but also on the rest of the pc, which only happens when musescore is open) you hear a quieter, even grainier echo. im so confused!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Best to ask for help in the Support forum, and include more info - tell us what version of MuseScore what OS, what audio hardware you have, what settings you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O, and maybe post a link an an audio recording so we can hear what you mean.
