I notice that MuseScore often doesn't play when plugged into headphones.
Looking in Preference-PortAudio, BLUETOOTH headphones are not always detected and therefore available.
Start normally Musescore
select in Audio device the BLUETOOTH headphones
try to play musescore, most of the time doesn't play and don' recognizze the headphone (SONY WH-1000XM3)
