Default note groups (beaming) for time signatures

I understand that I can right click on the time signature, select "Time Signature Properties..." from the context menu, and then alter the Note Groups configuration.

My issue is that I do not want to have to do this for every new score. I want it to be the default for every score that I create, no matter which template I use. Is there a way to set a certain Note Group configuration to be the default for all new scores?
