I use version 4.01.230121751, and the problem with playback playing one tone too high seems to remain (230214). (It made me almost believe that I had lost my music ear and could not sing any more ... :/ .. ) After export to an mp3 file the tone is correct.
The bug in question was fixed long ago. If you're hearing a problem, it's something else entirely.
If it's too high during playback but fine on export. that tells me your audio device is not communicating its sample rate correctly. Try changing its sample rate in your OS settings. If you continue to have trouble, please ask for help on the Support forum, and give more details about your system - what OS, what audio device, what sample rate, etc. Then someone with more system administration experience might be able to assist further.
