Changing Templates
I started a piece with a one treble staff solo template. Now that I am into it, I have need for a two treble staff template. Is there a way I can change to that template within the score? In other words, I have two pages of single treble staff, now I need two treble staffs. Is there a way I can now switch to that template within the swcore, or do I need to open a second file? If I open a second file, can I delete the Title at the top of the page so the staves begins at the top, and then can I merge the two files?

Just add the staff (for that Add Instruments dialog), fill in the notes and finally use Format > Style > Score > Hide empty staves

And if you will want to do something similar again you can save the modified score as a custom template. None of the content will be saved but the set up including your customised instrument selection will be preserved.
