Suggetion fo improving entering chord names

Hi,

When entering chord names, typing a space goes to the next symbol, whether it is a rest or a note. Although it might sometimes be relevant to enter chords over rests, sometimes it is not. It would be great to be able to choose whether to go from symbol to symbol or from note to note. (Unless, of course, there is a way to do that that I haven't discovered yet!)
