Please give more precise steps to reproduce the problem. Are you talking about the "rewind" button? That's for playback but doesn't necessarily affect the view on screen (that's what Ctrl+Home is for). Also check the state of your "Pan score automatically" and "Loop" buttons. And in the future, it's best to use the Supprot forum when asking for help using MsueScore, lots more people there able to assist.
Here are further details to answer your demands :
Context : the unit is not frequently rebooted ; standby is widely used instead (musescore running).
Press the "play" bouton (idem space key) and then the "loop playback" button several times (one to three) alternately with "play" button . The "loop playback behavior is irregular ... sometimes playback starts from the beginning, sometimes it continues.
Then the behavior of the three functions (goto start ; play , loop) deteriorates progressively; it then becomes impossible to restart playback at the desired location, no more than at the beginning of the chart.
Rebooting the unit fixes the problem.
Seems related to if not identical to #308976: 'Loop Playback' won't stop (space or play just invokes playing from start point). As far as I know no one has yet found really precise steps to allow any of the developers to reproduce the problem reliably.
