Repeats do not playback

I've used Musescore for many years and always repeats weren't played on the playback. I didn't really mind until now that I want the repeat to feel my piece is completed.
I've checked a lot of other reported bugs on this (most from 2020) and tried everything suggested. I'm up to date, I switched between page view and continuous view a lot of times (I work on page view), I switched on and off the toggle repeat on the tool bar but nothing works.
On this instance I want the repeat with different endings and the toggle only makes sure that the second ending doesn't play, but it never circles to the begining. I've not even once been able to make it work.
