How to display note names?
Hello,
I have a score that I want to show the note names under each note. I'm using Musescore3. Under the "Plugins" menu, Plugins Manager, I selected notenames.
But no note names showed up on my sore. Is there something else I need to do to activate this plugin so the note names will display on my score?

Thanks, but I don't really know where to go from here.
I installed Musescore 3, took one of the free scores, clicked on the musicnotes plugin and nothing changed.

Sorry, I meant note names (I'm new to Musescore). Now I saw there's a "Notes" added to the plugin menu. I clicked on it and... voila!!! It worked.
Even though I'm in the US, is there a way to have the notes displayed as "do re mi" rather than "C D E"?

Open a score (with some notes), select Plugin > Notes > Note Names

You're the best!
Just labeling the notes on the score my teacher sent me was worth the annual subscription price!!
Now I only need to find out why a light grayed-out sharp symbol is leading to some notes being displayed with a sharp symbol.
But I'm getting there!

It's not clear what you mean, but grayed-out symbols are ones that were set invisible (eg, by pressing "V"). If you need further assistance with this, please start a new thread and attach your score and describe the problem in more detail.

To be clear on what you're paying for: none of the features of the notation software as offered on this site require any kind of subscription.

Thanks for the information. I chose the subscription more to be able to download songs.
