Dynamics are accenting first beat of every measure
I have written a small short jazz lick and I need the chords and drum to be Pianissimo whilst the right hand needs to be mesopiano. The chords are being played at the same dynamic of the right hand on the first beat of every measure, but returning back to pianissimo afterwards. I am also struggling trying to get the dynamics seperate. Tips?

I'm assuming you are writing for the piano instrument.
To get a dynamic honored for a separate staff, use the Inspector to set its dynamic range to 'Staff'.
Also, if you have entered chord symbols (in addition to chord notes notated for the left hand) you may want to turn off chord symbol playback as that may cause the first beat to sound louder where a chord symbol is present.

It was the chord symbols! It was working on another file but the chord symbols on that one were off. Thank you!
