Lead sheets for strumming

Is anyone using Musescore to produce chord-based lead sheets (e.g. for ukulele or guitar strumming)?

What I have in mind is the sort of sheet which shows chord symbols above a lyric line, with no visible stave or tab line - viz

Here we go

Once again

I'm happy producing the chord symbols and lyrics, but I can't work out how to get everything else to disappear - or if it's even possible.

FWIW, my reason for looking to use Musescore rather than a word processor is the ease with which I can then produce versions in different keys or for different tunings.

I have tried various options in there, but the best I've managed so far is to reduce the stave to one line which still displayed notes. With the options available, I'm sure it's a case of user incompetence on my part!

It's also occurred to me that I'll need to restore everything when I need to edit the score, so I'm hoping there's a simple way of doing this. Most of my efforts involved changing a number of options.

See the "Invisible staff lines" box. No need to mess with the number of staff lines if you can't see them anyhow :-). But it should still be perfectly possible to edit the score even with things set to invisible.

If you continue to have trouble, post your best attempt here (the actual score, not just a picture) and tell us what specifically you are trying to do. Then we can understand and assist better.

Okay, so you want no staff, no notes.
What about time signature or bar lines?

Here are some variants:

You can use the Inspector and Staff Properties to compare the examples and see the different settings for each.
