Is there anyway to create custom metric modulation options?
In my piece, I am trying to write a section that goes from 4/4, to 13/8. The 4/4 section has a lot of triplets, so I want the eighth notes in the 13/8 to be the same length as the triplets in 4/4. None of the other metric modulation options work, is there anyway to create custom ones. The image below is an extremely rough version of what I'm looking for. Is there anyway to do this?

How many triplets do you have in the 4/4 section? Could you write it in 12/8 instead and then use tuplets for, pairs of quavers ("twoplets"?)

Quite a bit, but there's also a lot of eighth notes also. I don't think rewriting it into 12/8 would work.
