How to Write Tuplets over Bars?
I was transcribing a section of Shofukan by Snarky Puppy and I noticed that while the time signature was 4/4, there was a line that was creating a ilusion of a 5, creating a "cicle". So I went to musescore to write it down and I found that the guitar line in 5 was a quintuplet but it was inside a half note triplet in a 4/4 bar.
So, how I can merge this two half notes (the last from the triplet in bar 1 with the first of the triplet in bar two, so I can make it a whole note an make a quarter note quintuplet that overcomes the bar)???

I found it quite challenging to place quintuplets across the barlines. Is the attached example what you are trying to notate?
