Precondition: Have string quartet.

Steps
1. put "Pizz." on some note
2. put "arco" in the next bar

Result: Arco property doesn't affect at all. It stays Pizzicato.

Project is not chosen properly, I didn't know what to choose.

Score needed. Most likely you're using it wrongly or on an older score, anc 'changing' instrument to Violin (or whatever) would fix this
But not against this plugin project, which surely is entirely unrelated, use this instead
