1) Open a new score
2) Insert text frame (presumably anywhere)
3) Select the text frame and try to paste any text. It even crashes when you try to copy-paste the title generated by Musescore.

I this perhaps using the 4.0 alpha? That was a bug fixed sometime in the last few weeks.
It's Alpha2. Install file says 4.0.0.2826033426
Then try a later nightly build

Just a sidenote, I downloaded the Alpha version form this announcement: https://musescore.org/en/node/334200
The post gives instructions on how to report bugs, but there is no mention of nightly builds (except for the comments)
Just tried, this bug no longer exists.
