The following prevents changing to an exotic time signature after a score has been created. It does not interfere with common time signatures however it is possible to create a time signature that does not reflect the beats per measure.

  1. Right-click time signature.
  2. Select time signature properties.
  3. change the value in appearance>text

Notice the appearance changed but not the beats per measure.

It should work in one of two ways:
> you can't change the text of the time signature
> or you can change the text of the time signature and the beats per measure change with it

Why is this a bug: it's possible to create a key signature that doesn't match the number of beats per measure.

I was attempting to alternate between 8/4 and 8/8 time and could not find the same dialog box that one gets when starting a new score (New Score Wizard>last set-up screen>enter time signature).

Right-clicking on the time signature and selecting Edit Element has no effect. It should either:
> Say this option does not pertain to this element
> Permit some kind of editing (I think it should allow changing of the time signature)

A time signature can be copied but not pasted. The options are available but nothing happens. I would expect either:
> The option is not available
> The key signature is inserted into the score (I would like this best)
