Layering with beams?
I'm using layer 2 for the kick drum. Layer 1 for hihat and snare.
What can i do to attach layer 2 beam to layer one? or can I?

Notes in different voices don't beam together.

Yeah assummed this would be the case. But thought I'd ask.

So, if you wish kick and snare beamed together, you need to enter them in the same voice. If you intend to do this throughout the score, do it by editing the drumset definition. If it's just in this measure, you can send a note to another voice using the voice buttons.

hi marc, yes i typically use the same voice. But, since I'm notating alot of double bass with Bass Drum 1 (left foot) and Acoustic Bass (right foot), I wanted to use the 2nd voice using the kybd to enter to enter notes more quickly.
But since this is an issue, I'll continue using same voice.
