Install MuseScore through SNAP (Ubuntu), using the Musescore snap package provided (not the one by BVA). The installed version will be the Dev Build and not the main.

That had been reported before. And is nothing we here can resolve, it needs to be donw by the folks responsible for the SNAP build.
Use the AppImage instead, that's the only supported version (for Linux)
