Repeat barline not working when in the middle of a bar

1.) Make a score that has repeat barlines in the middle of a bar (or use the attached score).
2.) Notice the repeat barlines not working.

Note: Repeats are enabled in the playback settings and continuous/page views don't change anything.
I tried the repeat barline on other projects where the barlines are at the normal bar location and it worked fine.
It seems to a problem only with the barlines that are added in between bars.
(Also I'm a new user so it could be me who made a mistake)
