CPU Spikes when playing back with Muse Sounds

When starting or stopping playback, CPU spikes to 100%, and freezes my PC. Same with listening to a specific note (by clicking on it).

I'm currently using Muse Sounds, with a fresh install of MuseScore 4.0. Issue doesn't happend with MS Basic.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Start or stop your playback, or simply chose a note to listen to it.

Can confirm. I'm not hitting 100 percent but it easily spikes to 40-60 percent, but that's enough to cause significant delays. It makes the workflow basically impossible to work in.
