Note volume on click vs on playback

I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm missing some option, but I recently downloaded musescore 4, and was messing around in a score to test features. However I noticed that when I click a note it plays it very loudly no matter the dynamic, but when I playback the score with the play button it respects the dynamics I have set. Is there an option to make clicking the note follow the dynamics that I have set, or is this a bug? Because I remember musescore 2 and 3 both just automatically following the dynamics that were set.

Anyway, new release, yadda yadda, you probably are swarmed with stuff like this. Any help would be appreciated.
