Specs:
Windows 11 Home
AMD Ryzen 3700x, 8 core cpu
32 GB RAM, DDR4 @3200 mhz
nvme SSD.

To reproduce:
In large scores, using muse sounds or other vsts, attempt to playback notes, or edit as normally while task manager is in a window. the CPU will sometimes spike to up to 80 percent usage just from clicking on a note and trying to edit normally. I'm working in a project with about 30 instruments, loading a combination of musesounds, and about 4 instances of third party vst plugins. Suffice to say, Musesounds in musescore should not be taking up more resources on my computer than when I am using Eastwest Hollywood orchestra in my DAW.

Literally is a second delay when I click on something for it to register. This is basically unusable... I have good hardware how is it this unoptimized...

Title Musescore/Musesounds Uses too much CPU when using musesounds. Musescore/Musesounds Uses too much CPU when the navigation window is open.

After further testing I've figured out disabling the navigation window actually fixes the problem with the delay. Perhaps it is part of the problem.
