1) Move the MuseScore app on a secondary screen
2) Exist MuseScore
3) Disconnect the secondary screen
4) Launch MuseScore

It starts on the secondary screen and is not visible / controllable until you reconnect a 2nd screen.

Note: I use multiple desktops on my Windows 10 laptop and this happened to me when MuseScore was launched on my desktop #3

Reported version 3.6 4.x-dev

Thx Jojo-Schmitz

Actually, I'm new to MuseScore and did not observe this issue on v3.x. However, I've installed v4 very recently and that's where the issues popped-up.

Glad to see this is a known issue but annoyed to hear it has not been fixed while known for a while. Re-connecting a 2nd screen is often not possible as there is likely a very good reason why it was disconnected in a first place. Imagine the frustration when you have a 7 hours train and your stuck with your window not showing up ;-). The command line factory reset sounds a bit brutal solution as well although i'm not sure what it takes to try it.

Note also that it seems to me that each new document you open in v4 would open on the 2nd screen, so need to reconnect the 2nd screen eah time you open a new doc.

Cheers,
