Musescore 4.0.0... release. (Surprisingly not listed in the Reported version dialog above)
Under Instruments: Being able to change the Instrument name to something more descriptive and being able to reorder them in Instruments and on the Score is very useful, however...
The names don't change in the Mixer or in the Parts dialog located top center.
The order doesn't change on the Mixer.
So it's possible to have the same instruments with 3 different names and ordered differently.
This is confusing and time consuming.
The names should change in all three places when you change any one of them and the order under instruments should be matched in the Mixer.

I found this happening too. The names don't change in the Mixer or in the Parts dialog located top center. The order seems to change on the Mixer however.
And this is a Windows comp too
