Sound disappears after adding the accel. tempo. Please find an example attached. It disappears for a while after the first accel., it disappears for a note after the second and doesn't disappear after the third.

I can reproduce this in the attached score. This may be because you are using the accel lines but are giving them no length, though even in this circumstance playback should not stop.
