Do you mean, you opened a file and it was missing some of the music you entered? If so, then there are only two possibilities: 1) you didn't in fact save it, or 2) the file you opened is not the same file you saved. Check to be sure you didn't perhaps save it to a different file or in a different folder.
if you continue to have difficulty finding work that you saved, please ask for help on the Support forum, and include more details, like the OS you are using, the last-saved date on the file you opened, the name of the folder you believe you saved it to, etc.

i did save it that night, my friend watched me doing it and since i upload to cloud im opening the same file. my wifi recently has been quite bad so it might have not saved properly?
So, you only saved to the cloud, and not locally on your computer? I know little about how that service works, but if you ever find precise steps to reproduce the problem, we can try to investigate further.

yes, when you first save a file in musescore 4, it’ll ask you if you want to save to cloud or to the laptop so i chose cloud in case i lose my laptop files. i think there may be a way to recreate this exact issue but i’m not sure.
