What do you mean by connected eights?
The score seems to play just fine for me
When using the MS basic sound font, any sets of eights notes (beamed eighths not just singular eights) overlap and the sounds do not play for the correct amount of time.
Better title?
I can't reproduce though, your score plays just fine as far as I can tell
I played the opening of your score and it seems fine for me from what I can tell. Which specific note do you feel is played incorrectly?
Look at Measure 28 the notes in the top voice. This is only with the musebasic sounds, not the new sounds.
confirmed
Its the "quasi pizz." text causing it
Or the lack of staccato articulations in that measure. Remove oine or adding the other helps
Yes removing the text fixes it.
I would consider this be undefined behavior - adding a pizz marking to a woodwind staff cannot really be expected to do anything reasonable. But, it probably should do nothing Worth reporting on GitHub with a simple pared down example.
