Hello everyone,
the problem occurs when I choose to hide those staves which are not in use or those which don't contain any notes. When I do that the distance of the bracket and the distance between the active staves is not adjusted accordingly. The example attached is an arrangement I'm working on on a music work by the composer Mikis Theodorakis. The problem is obvious already from the first pages. I use the latest version of Musescore 4.1

You've made this a "cutaway" staff, which is meant for hiding individual measures that are empty, not entire staves. Instead, go to Staff/Prt Properties and set the "Hide when empty" to "Always".
