I use MuseScore4 on both Windows and MacOS.
A general Japanese keyboard is used for input, and it is possible to switch between half-width and full-width.

I want to type melismatics when entering lyrics, but when I type an underscore on the keyboard nothing happens. You can enter lyric slurs by pressing the minus key. Only merismatics cannot be entered. I wonder why?

Also, in the Windows version of MuseScore, when entering lyrics input mode, full-width Japanese input may not be possible (half-width alphanumeric characters can be input). Once you enter the text into the external app and use copy and paste, it is possible to enter Japanese in the score. However, this is very inconvenient.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could fix it as soon as possible. I think v4.0 is a great software with future potential.

I write lyrics in both Norwegian and Icelandic. The problem is present on an Icelandic keyboard layout, but everything works fine on a Norwegian layout.

The hyphen key and the minus button on the keypad do nothing, as if no button was pressed at all.

The underscore button (shift-hyphen) is inconsistent. Sometimes it works as normal. Sometimes it seems to work the same way as the space bar. The lyrics input moves to the next syllable, but there is no marking on the screen. However, if the underscore button is pressed repeatedly, the line sometimes appears after three or four syllables, or if it is repeated until the end of the measure.
