Project
I compose lots of finger style guitar arrangements using standard notation (treble) and tab. I tried editing some of the arrangements I made in MuseScore 3 in MuseScore 4, and the results weren't good. Please keep MuseScore 3 available until users can seamlessly work with MuseScore 3 arrangements in MuseScore 4, Thank you!!!!

In order to understand and assist or investigate further, we would need you to attach the score you are having trouble with and give precise steps to reproduce the problem you are encountering.
Meanwhile, yes, of course, all versions of MuseScore remain available for download, going back to the very beginning.
Here is a sample. I created it in MuseScore 3 using "full" tab and everything was fine. I then opened it in MuseScore 4 and the tab wasn't aligned properly.
Very strange! I can reproduce with this score indeed, but not one created from scratch. But I also can't figure out what settings might be messing things up. Can you attach the original MuseScore 3 file?
Other weird aspects to this: I stays messed up if I change the staff to simple or common style, also if I replace the instrument, and also if I add new staves to this instrument, shows show the same problem. But, if I add a new guitar instrument, it behaves normally.
I had to make a new file for you.
Please note that the problem only occurs when using "full" tab. It doesn't seem to occur using simple tab.
OK, thanks, I have now managed to reproduce this from scratch, but it seems to be dependent on the exact order I do things in. A most strange bug! But I will do my best to produce precise steps to report on GitHub.
