Text is way too small when editing header and footer

On Xubuntu 14.10 (MuseScore commit 5f30234), create a score, go to Style | General... | Header, Footer, Numbers and put some text in any textarea.

Text displayed in textareas is way too small. It makes edition very difficult:

Same problem when we click on the button to edit in a popup window:

It seems to me it is just using displaying at the actual size it will appear in your score. This is determined by your configured Header and Footer text styles, also whether you've overridden this at all for any particular text item using the button next to the typing area. I think it's deliberate that it display "as is". So unless you're seeing some issue where it is *not* behaving as intended, I suggest we close this as "by design".

Status (old) needs info by design

You're right. It's the size of the footer (default font point size 8) displayed on the score when I set zoom to 100%. I didn't realize that because I always edit scores with zoom Page Width, so more than 100%.

I'll set the font size to 10.
