promotion
I've received several emails about different promotional discounts to purchase an upgraded program. So far I've not answered them, but the latest might be an option. I'm currently using the 2.1 version which I've been very used to, and it works well for my needs. At one point I signed on for an update, but none of my hundreds of scores were transferred to the updated version, which was very inconvenient, so I continue to work in the 2.1 version. If I sign up for the promotional program, will all of my scores remain in the older version or will they be transferred over? If not, is there a way to easily blanket transfer them?

The software is completely free and requires no payment. Download it from the official page: https://musescore.org/en/download
Use the 3.6.2 (stable) or explore Nightly.
New versions can open files generated with previous versions (not the other way around).

The email you received seems to be a scam. There is no discount as the Musescore notation is free, zero cost. Just download the latest version (4.01) from here https://musescore.org/en/download and delete that email.
