“Do not input or copy and paste unicode character U+266F(sharp sign, ♯), U+266D (flat sign, ♭) etc, as MuseScore does not interpret them in chord notation properly.”
Enter a flat as plain 'b'

I only used small 'b' and Hastag. I don't know how to enter unicode characters. The score looked fine until I tried to do a screen shot ( as no image capture anymore) and when I reopened the file it had changed and now i can't edit it to return to normal flat signs.
See #340530: Sharp and flat in Chord symbols , your score uses Custom: stdchords.xml, change to Standard
