Unwanted and unneeded directories created at startup

After setting the app directories to what I want to use (Preferences/General/Folders), these settings are not fully respected. The following directories are created on startup without regard to the settings or end user preferences:
~/Documents/Musescore4/
~/Documents/Musescore4/Cloud Scores
~/Documents/Musescore4/Scores
To replicate, first make sure to back up your scores if you use the program for creating music.
Then
1) Change the directory settings under Preferences/General/Folders to something other than the defaults and save the change.
2) Quit the app.
3) Delete the directory ~/Documents/Musescore4/ and its sub-directories.
4) Launch the app.
The default directories are recreated without regard to the end user preferences.
