How do I add more space between the top frame of a song and the first line of note measures?

Hi. In all my songs, the header frame containing the song title, composer, etc. sets up fine, but the first line of note measures always begins way too close to the header frame. I tried adding a "Staff Spacer Up" to the top measures, but it does not recognize the header frame as an object, so when I drag it upwards, it just ignores the top header. Is there a way to increase the distance between the first line of measures and the header frame only, with no changes on subsequent lines of measures or pages? ( I'd rather not insert a new empty frame above the first line of measures, since its dotted lines are visible on the score)
Thanks

Sounds like your header area is a vertical frame, it's just two steps:

• Select the frame
• In MS3, increase the value of the frame's bottom margin to create more space between the frame and the notation below

• In MS4, increase the value of the frame's Properties>Appearance>Gap below for the same effect

Scorster: Thanks so much. I tried increasing the header frame bottom margin in MS3 but all it did is make the vertical width of the frame bigger. When I increased the Bottom Gap (as in MS4), it pushed down the first line of measures just as I wanted. Now I know what to do.
