MS4: Tied notes play separately (!?) when guitar is in overdrive

Pls see attached file and pic. The tied second note plays if I put the guitar in overdrive. When I remove overdrive, the problem goes away (1st tied note)

MS3 doesn't have this bug

I am using MS4 4.0.2 on Windows 11 x64. ASIO sound drivers.
