Automated stems, jumping voices, and MUTE ALL shortcut

Hi everyone, I have quick questions about MS4 can't find the answers for. PS I'm working on an SATB choral score with piano. 1) How can I jump from one voice to another to add notes without exiting note entry, clicking on a note in other voice then hitting N, etc. I'm working vertically through the 4 voices as I go along, not inputing all one voice at a time. It's very time consuming to go give the altos the next 2 notes, get out, get in Tenor, add 2 notes, etc. Question 2) in the mixer can I mute ALL and unmute ALL with one shortcut? Theres a delay between my keyboard and what MS is playing and driving me bananas. 3) I'm working in 4/8 (don't ask) and I don't want the stems to all attach. I'm inputting a melody made of 8th and 16th notes and MS is putting all the stems together: very hard to read, which is why I'm working in 4/8 in the first place. I know I can undo each time, but please tell me there's a setting to just turn this off? Thanks

Are you talking about SATB as in SA on the treble clef and TB on the bass clef? I would normally use voice 1 for soprano and tenor and voice 2 for alto and bass. In that case I think all you have to do is (for example) hit N, select the voice for the part you want to enter notes for ( voice 2, alto as in your example). enter the note. Select voice 1. enter a note on the bass clef. No need to exit note input.
Of course this might only work for mouse note input. That's the only method I know.
