Moving note stems
I’m looking for a way to move the stems around from two different voices (on the same beat with different note lengths), and also have the accidentals hugging the notes they’re associated with. The difficulty with my situation is that I simultaneously have a C and C# on the same beat. I have been working on this simple task for quite a while now and it seems impossible to do on Musescore? See the attached photo with what I’m trying to achieve in red.
Thanking you in advance,
Robin

Use the x-offset of the chords (!), to move the right set to the left and the left set to the right

Chords? In the Properties panel of MS4 I cannot see a "Chord" option - only "Note" (Head / Stem / Beam).
But both in MS3 and in MS4 I think it's necessary to move the C# accidental manually (by X-offset) to get what the OP wants:
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It was Chord offset in Mu3. Often got confused with Element offset

... and I still get confused by this in MS3!

Excellent, thank you for your help!

In Mu4 the regular offset (found under Appearance) already affects the whole chord - you have to go further out of your way to move noteheads individually. So, that particular confusion will hopefully become a thing of the past now.
But FWIW, I don't personally recommend making this particular adjustment in the first place. The rules are subjective in cases of overlap like this, but a common principle is downstem to the left, and to me easier to read as is. It's subjective, though.
