Latest version of MuseScore 4 won't open in Windows 11
I have been using MuseScore for many years. However, the latest version of MuseScore 4 no longer will open. It starts to load, but then simply disappears. I had no problem using the first version of MuseScore 4, but now it simply won't work. I have tried uninstalling the software then reinstalling it, but still will not open.
Can you PLEASE help? I have quite a few scores that I created using MuseScore 4, but those scores can not be opened in MuseScore 3 (which still works on my Windows 11 laptop).

Do you have an audio interface connected? If so try disconnecting it.

I'm not sure what you mean by an audio interface. If you mean Bluetooth speakers, I have disconnected them and also removed them, but MuseScore 4 still will not load.
Interestingly, I was able open MuseScore 4 software by using MuseScore 3 to import a pdf music score. After the file MuseScore file was created from the pdf and I opened that file, it opened in MuseScore 4 instead of MuseScore 3. It's a strange and awkward workaround, but I would like to just open MuseScoree software without having to first import a pdf file!
Please explain what you mean by an audio interface. Thanks!
