enter and exit note input mode
Version 4.0.2.230651553 - why can't I copy and paste this from the about screen instead of typing it?
according to the video I watched you can exit note input mode by pressing 'esc'. I usually have to press it twice. If I then undo the last change I magically reenter note input mode. I cannot think of a reason why you would want that to happen. Also if I go to another window whilst in note input mode, when I return I cannot exit NIM - no matter how many ESCs I press, a note is stuck to my cursor. The only possible exit is to click somewhere to put a note I don't want, then 1 or 2 ESC gets me out of NIM Now I want to get rid of the junk note I just placed, so I click the undo button in the upper right. This deletes the junk note but now I'm back in note input mode!
Is this the way it is supposed to work?

Hmmm. Hit "N" to enter note input mode and hit "N" again to exit.

Ok, I'll definitely try that but my point was that the behavior of the software doesn't match the training video.
