Change piano first line for Violin
Please help with advice. I had a piano score and changed my mind, want to keep the left had as piano, but the first line to play as Piano.
Also, how can I play only the selected instrument? Thanks

To change you piano score into one for violin and piano, use the Instruments panel to add a new Violin instrument. Then copy and paste the music you originally wrote for piano onto the new violin staff.
To solo an instrument during playback, simplest is to just select a measure of that instrument before pressing Play. If you select a measure )or other range), then only the selected instrument(s) play. but you can also use the solo & mute buttons in Mixer.
