Album not saving correctly

i use a Mac Book Air to use musescore but upon downloading the 2.0 beta i tried to create an album to combine three pieces into one i added them and joined the scores but upon saving it went to a save location that would not open. I then found if i saved it to an alternate location it would work but i ask that it be auto saved to a new file (scores) so it may still open and no one else has this problem.
