Musescore 4 rit. bug.

On Musescore 4, whenever I place a rit. on a certain measure, most instruments who are sustaining or playing a passage of notes will experience a short cut in between playback. When there's a succession of notes, slurs are nullified, and the note after the abrupt stop experiences an unwanted accent that cannot be removed (to my limited knowledge). For some instruments, a note that is held experiences a stop and does not resume, and for others, the glitch simply does not exist. the Inconsistency is slightly irritating, and this bug prevents me from writing anything complex when a rit. is present. I'm not sure if anyone else experiences this bug, but I just wanted to get some answers on how to potentially fix it. Thanks.
