How do I stop using Muse Hub sounds ? It causes too much lag
I'm writing a symphonic piece but Musescore gets more and more laggy. It slows me down and the laggy playback is painful to hear. Maybe should I stop using Muse Hub sounds, but how do I do so?

Go to View/Platback setup and activate Basic sounds.

But before giving up, be sure you've updated to 4.1 which is much more efficient, and also be sure your audio device's sample rate isn't causing problems. Set to 44.1 kHz for best results n most systems.

Whether that works or not for you, please respond in that thread and provide the requested info, to help us diagnose what might be happening. We'd very much like to figure out why this happens on some systems, so we need help from the people who experience this issue!
